As a long-time and experienced Allbreed Judge, Regional Director, and Executive Committee Board member of the Cat Fanciers' Association, I am committed to strengthening our organization by supporting the show-producing clubs that make CFA possible, ensuring a sustainable financial future, and improving the function and reputation of the CFA Board.
It has been brought to my attention that there is information circulating about my current health status by uninformed individuals. As some of you know, I faced a serious health challenge a few years ago. I’m grateful to share that I have now been cancer-free for three years, have been given a clean bill of health, and continue with routine scans every six months. I have never felt better, and I am energized and ready to continue dedicating my time, experience, and leadership to the future of the Cat Fanciers' Association.
I value my private life away from CFA, and I respect others who do as well. Our community works best when we support one another, focus on the cats, and respect personal boundaries.
My campaign focuses on three priorities:
Priorities
1. Stronger Support for Show-Producing Clubs
Show-producing clubs are the backbone of CFA. Without their dedication and hard work, our cat shows and community would not exist.
As Vice President, I will work to:
• Improve communication between clubs and the CFA board
• Identify ways to reduce administrative burdens on clubs
• Promote tools and resources that help clubs run successful, profitable shows
• Encourage collaboration and mentorship between established and newer clubs
• Support initiatives that increase exhibitor participation and spectator attendance
My goal is to ensure that clubs feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.
2. Transparency and Open Communication
Members deserve clarity about how decisions are made and how the organization operates.
I will advocate for:
• Greater transparency in board discussions and decision-making
• Clear and accessible meeting summaries and reports for members
• Open channels for member feedback and constructive dialogue
• A culture where questions and ideas from the membership are welcomed
Transparency builds trust, unity, and confidence in CFA leadership.
3. Strengthening CFA’s Financial Future
A healthy financial foundation allows CFA to grow, innovate, and support its programs.
I will work to:
• Evaluate opportunities to increase revenue while protecting the member experience
• Support initiatives that attract new exhibitors and cat enthusiasts
• Promote efficient spending and responsible financial oversight
• Encourage partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities that benefit CFA and its clubs
A strong bottom line ensures that CFA can continue to thrive for future generations of cat fanciers.
Moving Forward Together
The Cat Fanciers' Association has a proud history built by passionate volunteers, exhibitors, breeders, and clubs who dedicate their time and energy to our beloved hobby. By supporting our clubs, improving transparency, strengthening our financial position, and working together with respect and purpose, we can build an even stronger future.
I would be honored to serve as your Vice President and work collaboratively with the board and membership to advance the mission of the Cat Fanciers' Association and ensure our organization continues to thrive for generations to come.
Announcements

My experience with the Cat Fanciers' Association spans decades, and it has given me a deep understanding of both our history and our future. One of the greatest honors of my service has been that two different CFA Presidents, over the past six years, independently appointed me to a position that does not require the President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer to serve.
To me, that speaks volumes. It reflects the trust they placed in my experience, my judgment, and my long-standing commitment to the Cat Fanciers’ Association and the cat fancy as a whole.
As we approach this upcoming election, it is very possible that CFA could see a board made up entirely of new members. Fresh ideas are always valuable, and new energy can be exciting. But experience matters too.
It’s popular to believe that “new is always better,” but forgetting our past — the lessons learned, the traditions built, and the foundation that made CFA strong — is not the path forward.
The future of CFA should be built on both innovation and experience, respecting our history while guiding the organization forward with knowledge, stability, and vision.
